As a cornerstone of our local community, we're seeking a dedicated and energetic Brewery Sales Representative to help expand our market presence and share our exceptional brews with beer enthusiasts across the region.

About the Role:

The Rusty Rail Brewing Company Beer Sales Rep will be responsible for increasing sales, placements, and brand awareness by promoting our brews to restaurants, distributors, bars, and retail accounts. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with new customers while maintaining existing relationships, executing sales strategies, and representing the Rusty Rail brand professionally and enthusiastically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue new sales opportunities and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Conduct product tastings, promotions, and educational events to showcase Rusty Rail's beer portfolio.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement brand initiatives, create content, and promotions.
• Use market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide incredible customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders, and account updates by utilizing VIP, call, and goal sheets.
• Attend tap takeovers, festivals, beer events, and other relevant activities to promote the brand.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be passionate about craft beer and possess a deep knowledge of beer styles, brewing processes, and tier system.
• Previous experience in beverage sales, preferably in the beer or alcohol industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently, with the ability to work with multiple departments at any given time.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• The candidate must be able to lift and move cases of beer (up to 40 lbs).
